How to Use Artificial Outdoor Topiary Trees Around Your Home or Office

You can get a similar look with artificial outdoor topiary trees. Mixed in with some real plants among the grass makes them look more realistic.

Harmony is the key to good decor. It is important to give space in your home and office for nature and greenery.

While you cannot have live trees indoors, one could do just as well by using artificial outdoor topiary. Topiary forms shapes out of trees and shrubs – geometric and fanciful, the perfect placement of which can elevate your decor to one of elegance, glamour and peace.

Choose those plants whose shapes you like and would want to have around. It is much like creating patterns that is pleasing to the eye.

You could use artificial outdoor topiary trees around your home or office in the following ways:

1. Creating a corner of green.

Place the artificial outdoor topiary of your choice in a corner of your liking. You could place a low table beside it to hold artifacts or a few large polished riverbed pebbles around the pot to complete the scene. For a touch of modern decor, you could even place a mirror in minimalistic wooden frame beside it. This could be a spot for you to check yourself before stepping out if home, or a place to sit and reflect if in office and will go well with reception decor.

2. Creating an island of green

Here, you could use a selection of varied artificial outdoor topiary. Preferably choose different angular shaped ones in square pots and place them beside each other. Lower height ones work best for this look. You could place a jute mat beneath this arrangement. In case you wish to delineate this area for a cleaner angular look, you could place a little raised section within which this is placed. This works well in your living room space at home and anywhere in office. For exclusively children’s spaces consider getting topiary shapes of animals for them to have a fun experience.

3. An indoor garden

This would require you to mark off a section where you can put an artificial grass carpet, place artificial outdoor topiary of varied shapes and sizes, mark a pathway and place either floor cushions if at home or a park bench if an office. This indoor garden can be the perfect place for the little ones to play and be soothed or for you to relax. Remember to keep the flooring soft so you can also wander around barefoot.

Besides the above, you could also place an artificial outdoor topiary in a walk in closet with a tall lamp by it to accentuate its design and cast a cinematic shadow or amidst furniture in the living, dining space and bedroom.

Bring home the outdoors with artificial outdoor topiary trees!

Thank you for this article!

We just recently purchased our first new home in California which is currently in drought, and now under watering restrictions.
What wonderful new landscaping ideas for our front and back yards.
